Dear (seems like) 90% of the damn Pagan community:

Doll used in spells rituals =/= “Voodoo dolls”.

Not every damn doll used in magic can be carelessly slapped with that label.
Pretty much the only time you can use that term accurately is if you’re a Vodouist and are using a doll. 

Otherwise it’s a poppet. From what I can tell, those came before dolls used in Vodou(n) (for those of you who treat their spirituality like YouTube comments [FIRST!]) and don’t invoke the tired-ass “black folks are scary—ESPECIALLY when they practice magic!” trope.
